Finishing Fire Retardant Paint-Two-component water-based expansion type SH-S/700AB

SH-S/700AB is a water-based two-component finishing fire-retardant coating that can form a flame-retardant insulation layer on the surface of most foamed or porous substrates, such as wood, paper, etc. When the fire source approaches the coating, the coating expands rapidly due to the heat to form a protective carbon layer, thereby isolating the fire source and protecting the substrate.

Packaging and storage requirements
1. The package is 20Kg plastic barrel.
2. Store in a dark and cool place (5-35℃). The shelf life of component A is 1 month and the shelf life of component B is 3 months.

    1. Product indicators

      Component A Index
    1 Appearance Yellow liquid
    2 Solid content (Wt%) 46±1
    3 Viscosity (mPa.s) ≤500
    4 pH 6.0-8.0
      Component B Index
    1 Appearance White paste
    2 Solid content (Wt%) 66±2
3 Average particle size µm ≤20

    2. Usage process

    1. Before using this product, the wood needs to be polished smooth and the wood needs to be sealed with water-based primer.
    2. You can also use component A to seal the substrate, the recommended dosage is 50-80g/m2. If the viscosity of component A is too high, add about 5% water to dilute it.
    3. After treating the wood with component A, dry it for about 30 minutes before spraying the fire retardant coating. If the wood surface is slightly sticky, it will not affect the use of the fire retardant coating.
    4. This product can be applied by brush, roller or spray. It is recommended to mix component A and component B in a weight ratio of 2:3 during construction, stir at high speed, and filter with a 100 or 120 mesh filter after stirring evenly. If the viscosity of the paint is too high during spraying, it is recommended to add 10-25% water for further dilution and stir evenly. When spraying, it is recommended to use a large-caliber spray gun and a high-power air pump for good spray atomization effect. The recommended construction amount is 90-120g/m2 each time.
    5. The recommended wet glue dosage is 400-600g/m2. The principle of coating the product is to apply it in small amounts and multiple times. Wait until the previous coat is dry before applying the next coat, otherwise it may cause the coating to turn white.

    3. Notes

    1. Dilute component A with water. It is recommended that the amount of water used should not exceed 10%.
    2. When spraying component A and component B, it is recommended that the amount of water used should not exceed 25%. The more water used, the longer the coating curing time.
    3. Avoid working on rainy days during construction. It is recommended to use in an environment with air humidity <60%, temperature >20℃ and good ventilation. When the coating reaches the required thickness, it should be covered with waterproof varnish in time after the surface is dry for 24 hours to protect the fire retardant coating.
    4. After the product is fully stirred and mixed, please use it within 2 hours, otherwise it will slowly solidify.
    5. The flame retardant effect is directly related to the amount of spraying. The more the amount of spraying, the better the flame retardant effect.
