Finishing Fire Retardant Paint-Single component water-based expansion type SH-S/700D
1. Product Introduction
SH-S/700D is a one-component water-based intumescent fire retardant coating that forms a flame retardant insulating layer on the surface of substrates, such as wood, sponge, polystyrene board, etc. When a fire source approaches the coating, the coating rapidly expands due to heat to form a protective char layer, thereby isolating the fire source and protecting the substrate.
2. Usage process
1. Before construction, the dust and oil on the surface of the substrate should be cleaned.
2. Stir the fire retardant coating SMT-S/700D evenly in advance.
3. Construction method: Use brush or roller coating technology, the coating amount of each layer shall not exceed 250g/m2, and the next layer should be applied after the surface is completely dry.
4. Curing time: The curing time of physical and chemical properties and fire resistance specimens should be more than 5 days.
3. Notes
1. When spraying, you can add water appropriately. It is recommended that the amount of water should not exceed 25%. The more water is used, the longer the coating will take to cure.
2. Avoid working on rainy days during construction. It is recommended to use in an environment with air humidity <60%, temperature >20℃ and good ventilation. When the coating reaches the required thickness, it should be covered with waterproof varnish in time after the surface is dry for 24 hours to protect the fire retardant coating.
3. The fire prevention effect is directly related to the amount of spraying. The more the amount of spraying, the better the fire prevention effect.
4. After use, it should be kept sealed to avoid crusting on the surface, which will affect repeated use.
