| With calcined kaolin's iris action to 7-25 micrometers wavelength infrared ray, the night temperature in agricultural film has improved 2-3 degree centigrade and reduced the diurnal amplitude, which is beneficial to crop growth. Meanwhile, the perpendicular incidence radial is reduced and the reradiation radial is increased by adding the modified kaolin. That results in the crop's equal illumination and is beneficial to crop's photosynthesis. Because of its low interclude to infrared ray and little opacity, Chinese agricultural film's greenhouse effect isn't so good.If kaolin could be applied to agricultural film as heat preservation, the temperature retention of film will be improved and the raw material costs will be lowered, because kaolin's resistance is close to mica but price is moderate. So the kaolin heat preservation is promising. |
